The 2006 OPA Poster Session was held on
Friday, October 27, 2006, during the OPA Annual Convention.
The session was OPA’s biggest yet, with 26 entries. Congratulations to the 2006 Winners!

Maria Noce, Wright State University, won in the
empirical category for her poster, “College Student Worry, Anxiety and
Working Memory Outcomes.” This study further examined the role of anxiety
and worry as it relates to cognitive functioning including working memory
outcomes and processing efficiency.
Michelle Duprey, Ohio
University, took top honors in the non-empirical category for her
poster, “From Conception to Defense: The Life of an Undergraduate Honors
Thesis.” The poster discussed the stages of completing and Honor's Thesis
from its conception to its defense.
