The 2007 OPA Poster Session held on
Friday, October 26, 2007, during the OPA Annual Convention. The session was
OPA’s biggest yet, with 41 entries. Congratulations to the 2007 Winners!
The top graduate empirical poster prize went to Veronika Karpenko and Margaret Mahoney, Ohio University, for their research titled, “Relation Between Symptom and Functional Change in ADHD Children Within School-Based Mental Health Program.”
The graduate non-empirical winner was Jessica Turchik, Ohio University, for “Psychological Consequences of Sexual Assault in Male Victims.”
John Carroll University students Amanda Maggiotto, Tina Sheridan and Ashley Russo captured top undergraduate poster honors with their research, “Effects of Attractiveness and Gender Perceptions on Sexual Harassment.” Winners will receive the following:
