Psychologically Healthy Workplace
Award Luncheon
Wednesday, October 24, 2007 • 12:15–1:45 p.m.
Meal included with “half day,” “full day” and “all convention” packages.
How many times a day have you said, “I’m so stressed!” at work? OPA’s
Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award honors businesses that make its
employees’ work lives less stressful through policies and philosophies. This
award, in its fifth year, selects recipients based on the following
criteria: employee involvement, family support, employee growth and
development and health and safety issues. Last year, OPA honored five
companies: The Ohio Society of CPAs (Dublin), Jewish Family Services
(Columbus), Humility of Mary Health Partners (Youngstown), Dayton Marriott
Hotel and Koinonia Homes (Cuyahoga Heights). At this luncheon, OPA also will
recognize its third APA award receipt, Koinonia Homes. Join Columbus WBNS-10
TV Anchor Andrea Cambern as we recognize this year’s winners!

with them! Instead of the usual lecture about OPA’s Political Action
Committee, you’ll hear from John Carney about political contributions. Mr.
Carney, an associate at Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur, ran for the 22nd
House District Seat in 2006 and will try again in 2008. And there are more
surprises in store—so don’t miss out!
