Advocacy Alert: September

Have you registered to vote? Tuesday, October 6 is the last day to register to vote in the November 6 election. You can do this online or you can stop by your library, high school, Bureau of Motor Vehicles or the County Board of Elections. If you have moved or changed your name since the last election, it’s necessary to update your registration.

John Quincy Adams said, “Posterity — you will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it.” Our freedom to vote is at the heart of our democracy and the more dysfunctional it becomes, the more we need to get involved.
