September Member Benefit of the Month: Listservs

OPA offers a variety of email lists to serve the many needs of its diverse group of members. Email lists focus on networking and discussion of current issues within the field of psychology, and are offered at no additional charge to members. To sign up, log in to myopa and look for the “Register for OPA email listservs” link under Explore and Register for OPA Services.

General Forum (OPA-LINK) – (Affiliate members are not eligible to participate on this list)
OPA’s open forum for members to network and discuss current issues in the field of psychology.

Early Career Psychologist (OPA-EARLY) – (Members or non-members licensed within the past seven years)
OPA’s forum for recently licensed individuals to discuss early career issues.

LGBT (OPA-LGBT) – (Open to all members)
Forum for discussion about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues pertaining to the field of psychology.

News Flash (OPA-NEWS) – (Open to all members)
Periodic news, announcements, and CE opportunities from OPA Central Office (no chat) Note: OPA-LINK subscribers already receive OPA-NEWS messages & need not subscribe.

Prescriptive Privileges (OPA-RxP) – (Open to all members)
Forum for individuals to network and discuss issues relevant to advocating for prescriptive privileges for psychologists in Ohio.

Small College (OPA-SM-COL) – (Open to small college faculty)
Forum to encourage dialogue and facilitate collaboration among small college psychology faculty in Ohio.

Student (OPA-STUDENT) – (Student members only)
Subscribe to this open forum to network and discuss current student/early career issues in psychology.

Bureau of Workers Compensation (OPA-BWC) (Open to all members)
Bureau of Workers Compensation Improvements Network

Public Sector Psychology (PSI_Mail_Group) (Open to all members)
