OPA Colleague Assistance Program Trainings

The OPA Colleague Assistance Program(OPA-CAP) is offering two trainings this fall to prepare psychologists to serve as network providers with OPA-CAP. The mission of the OPA-CAP is to provide Ohio psychologists and OPA members with assistance in accessing services to restore professional functioning and to protect client welfare. The Central Ohio Psychological Association invites you to its OPA Colleague Assistance Program Network Provider Training on September 20, 2013. This is a three hour face-to-face training to prepare
psychologists to serve as Network Providers in the OPA Colleague Assistance Program (OPA-CAP). Attendees will learn from Michael Schafer, PhD, Sherry Knapp-Brown, PhD and Gregory S. Brigham, PhD. The training will be from 1-4 p.m. at Maryhaven in Columbus. Attendees will earn 3 CE in ethics for free and must be members of OPA (OPA-CAP Providers must be OPA members). The Cincinnati Academy of Professional Psychology will offer the same face-to-face training on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 1– 4 p.m. at the Linder Center of HOPE in Mason. Attendees will learn from Sherry
Knapp-Brown, PhD, Greg Brigham, PhD and Michael Schafer, PhD. Attendees will earn 3 CE in ethics for free and must be members of OPA (OPA-CAP Providers must be OPA members). To register, please email
