On Friday, Oct. 28, those who have devoted their time and energy to the profession of psychology and OPA were honored at the annual awards ceremony.
David Hayes, Ph.D., was awarded the President's Award for his helpfulness to Dr. Cathy Gaw during her time as OPA President.
Roger Blashfield, PhD was awarded the Special Projects Award for his
outstanding work on the “OPA Database Report” analysis project.
Lynne Rustad, PhD received
The Public Sector Psychologist of the Year for her trailblazing work in the
public sector.

Robin Arthur, PhD
was awarded the Distinguished Psychologist Award for her work to bring a
state-of-the-art mental health facility to the Cincinnati region.

The Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award Committee, given the Committee of the Year for its work to develop Telepsychology Guidelines.

Jerod Smalley received the OPA Media Award for
the WCMH production of "The Autism Puzzle," a broadcast highlighting
the stories of autism patients, their families and current research.
David Schwartz, PhD was awarded the Distinguished Service Award
for his many contributions to OPA, including his work with the BWC.

Toni Vaughn Heineman was given the Award of Excellence for her work with
A Home Within.
Terry Imar, PhD was awarded the Award of Excellence in Psychology
for his many contributions to OPA and the field of psychology.
Alice Randolph, EdD, MSCP
was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to psychology,
especially in the geriatric behavioral services. She has been a leader and
advocate for Medicare issues for psychologists.
