E-mail is fast and convenient, but not all legislators use their e-mail.

Follow these tips when writing an e-mail

· Be brief and to the point. Legislators and aides are busy. A short paragraph is the maximum needed.

· Follow the instructions in CapWiz to send your email. Alternative routes are described below.

Follow these directions to send an e-mail to an Ohio Senator:

• Visit The Ohio Senators Page
• Click on the name of the Senator you want
• Click on their e-mail address. A “New Message” box appears with the email address already entered.

Follow these directions to send an email to an Ohio Representative:

• Visit The Ohio House of Representative Page
• Type in the name of the Representative you want on the right hand side
• Click on their name.
• On their page, their e-mail is listed under their photo. Click on the underlined e-mail Address (districtXX@ohr.state.oh.us). A “New Message” box appears with the e-mail address already entered
