Help the Community…Bring Canned Food to OPA’s Workshops!
When you attend an OPA workshop this May or June, bring a can or box of food with you! The Committee on Social Responsibility is collecting goods for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank’s Operation Feed. The goal of Operation Feed is to provide six million meals to families. Demand for food was up seven percent in 2009—so your help is needed now more than ever! Can’t attend an OPA workshop? You can still help the cause by participating in the Virtual Food Drive. Join the OPA team and make a donation.

The most-needed foods include:
Pasta meals in a can
Tuna
Canned fruit
Canned vegetables
Canned meat
Soup
Peanut Butter

One hundred percent of your donation to Operation Feed benefits people in need. That means if you give $5, every penny of it goes to provide food for hungry people. Demand for food in 2009 was up seven percent over the record number of requests in 2008--so every donation counts!

Thanks in advance for your donation!
