The Wright State University School of Professional Psychology is seeking candidates for the position of Executive Director of their Ellis Human Development Institute (EHDI). This is a twelve-month faculty position at the Assistant to Full Professor level, depending upon experience and qualifications. Located off campus in downtown Dayton, the EHDI is a psychological service, training, and research center. Consistent with the mission of the School, the EHDI serves a diverse underserved minority population throughout the Miami Valley. A broad range of special programs addressing domestic violence, services for the deaf, psychological assessment, memory, and a male and female responsibility program for youth and their families are offered at the EHDI. The successful candidate for the position will have leadership experience within a community-based mental health/behavioral health care setting and in the development of services to underserved urban and ethnic minority groups. Responsibilities will include: managing the facility’s daily operations and assurance of quality of service management; coordinating resources and public relations among all existing and newly developed specially funded programs and projects; fiscal management to include developing new funding sources and expanding and managing third party reimbursements; and developing policies and procedures. Some teaching is required along with other faculty responsibilities such as advising, scholarship and committee work. A doctorate degree from an APA accredited program, an internship in Psychology, and eligibility for licensure in Ohio are required. Postdoc Opportunity Mid-Ohio Psychological Services, Inc. is seeking a full time Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow to provide mental health services in our Lancaster office. Health Psychologist The Cleveland Clinic Mellen Center for Multiple Sclerosis Treatment and Research seeks a Health Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team of physicians, neuropsychologists, advanced practice nurses, physicians’ assistants, physical and occupational therapists and social workers.  Position involves treating patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) or other chronic neurological disorders and their families. Responsibilities include psychological evaluation of patients’ emotional status, stress-related physical symptoms, coping with chronic pain and fatigue and treatment planning. ADULT HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP Cleveland Clinic Foundation, a World Class academic medical center rated among the top 4 hospitals in America, announces a two-year Postdoctoral fellowship opportunity in adult clinical health psychology. This position is available September, 2008.  The first year major rotation will involve assessment and treatment of patients with headache. Second-year major rotation options include primary care and weight management / bariatrics. Other available rotations in both years include insomnia, testing, biofeedback, and outpatient psychotherapy clinics. Abundant opportunities are available for teaching and research.
