This workshop presents an overview of forensic psychology. A model for forensic psycholgical evaluation is first offered, followed by discussion of a number of commonly requested examination types including trial competence, criminal responsibility, criminal sentencing and disposition — including death penalty litigation, and child custody. Case law, statutes, ethical issues, assessment methodology and the role of experts are also reviewed.
