This workshop will introduce participants to the Gestalt model of couples therapy. Students will learn how couples work as a system to create their patterns of communication, and how they, as therapists, can teach client couples to become aware of their systemic patterns that are counterproductive and convert them into more fruitful ways of interacting. The workshop will include lecture, discussion, experiential exercises and practice labs.
