6 hours in Ethics. This seminar will address ethical issues of confidentiality, professional boundaries, self determination, abuse and neglect, retirement from practice and the professional will. HIPAA regulations related to mental health and documentation requirements will be reviewed. Discussion of actual case studies and legal cases will alert professionals to ethical and boundary issue problems encountered in clinical practice.
Presented by Emily Laubach, Ph.D. – Dr. Laubach held positions
as a faculty member at the University of Texas and Texas Woman’s
University. Her seminars are filled with practical information based on
sound clinical principles.
