The Purpose of the Workshop
1. To provide an overarching theoretical and philosophical approach to marital therapy that can integrate a clinician’s individual work with marital work, as well as provide a way to look at the overall process over time and the differences between couples from the diagnostic and clinical perspective.
2. To identify the most difficult challenges of marital therapy and in a coherent way look at how a clinician can meet these challenges
In addition to looking at the scenarios and the underlying theoretical framework, the workshop will explore the diagnosis of a couple, as well as the role of the therapist in treating those couples.
Held on Seven Thursday evenings: April 25, May 9, 16, 23, June 6, 13, & 20, 2013
