State Budget

OPA has endorsed the Campaign to Protect Ohio's Future, which is advocating a balance between programs cuts and revenue increases to cover needed health and human services. While they are not suggesting any particular revenue option, they have developed an interesting list of suggestions of ways to increase revenue. Also, there are budget provisions under the Department of Insurance that have impact on issues we've been raising.

Information from the Campaign to Protect Ohio's Future and other information is below. Some of you may wish to contact your legislators and the governor to express your personal opinion on these budget issues.
