OPA offers a variety of email lists to serve the many needs of its diverse group of members. Email lists focus on networking and discussion of current issues within the field of psychology. Email lists are a service offered at no additional charge to members.

Bureau of Workers Compensation (OPA-BWC) – Open to all members
Ohio Psychological Association Bureau of Workers Compensation Improvements Network.

Early Career Psychologist (OPA-EARLY) – Members/non-members licensed within the past 7 years
OPA’s forum for recently licensed individuals to discuss early career issues.

General Forum (OPA-LINK) – Affiliate members are not eligible to participate
Open forum for members to network and discuss current issues in the field of psychology.

LGBT (OPA-LGBT) – Open to all members
Discussion on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues pertaining to the field of psychology.

News Flash (OPA-NEWS) – Open to all members
Periodic news and announcements from OPA Central Office (no chat).

Prescriptive Privileges (OPA-RxP) – Open to all members
Forum for individuals to network and discuss issues relevant to advocating for prescriptive privileges for psychologists in Ohio.

Public Sector Issues (OPA-PSI) – Open to all members
Ohio psychologists who seek to improve the quality of mental health services funded directly or indirectly by the government. It provides a forum for open information exchange, discussion, group support and advocacy.

Small College (OPA-SM-COL) – Open to small college faculty members
Forum to encourage dialogue and facilitate collaboration among Ohio small college psychology faculty.

Student (OPA-STUDENT) – Students only
Forum for students to network with each other and familiarize themselves with the field of psychology.
