OPA Recruitment Rewards

Want to earn a free OPA membership or discounted attendance at OPA CE events?

For each new member you recruit to join the OPA, you can do just that by earning credit through the Recruitment Rewards program! In addition, the individual who recruits the most new full OPA members for the current member year will receive a free OPA membership (valued up to $330) in the following year.

Members will be eligible to choose from the following for each new member listing your name as the referrer on their new member application:

  • discounted OPA membership, equal to 10% of the cost of the new member’s dues*
  • $15 off any OPA administered workshop or the OPA Annual Convention**
  • one-year free participation in the OPA Find a Psychologist Online Referral Program
  • any combination of OPA merchandise valued at $25
  • one free advertisement posting in the OPA Career Center

The Recruitment Rewards program will only apply to NEW members of OPA – rewards are not granted for members applying for reinstatement. Members are not limited in the number of individuals they can refer in one year, except with respect to discounted member dues or CE event attendance. Recruitment Rewards expire two years after issuance.

Earning Recruitment Rewards is simple – just be sure your name is listed on the “Referred By” line on the OPA New Member Application.

Contact Director of Membership and Education Joan Bowman with any questions.

*Total discount cannot exceed the cost of the referring member’s dues for one year
**Total discount cannot exceed the cost of attending one six-hour standalone workshop or one full day of Convention attendance
Note: 6 affiliate/student members can be counted as one full member in the race for the free membership.
