The Ohio Psychological Association is launching a new
program for 2009-10, Recruitment Rewards,
in which current members are eligible to receive an incentive reward for each
new member they recruit to join the association.
In addition, the individual
who recruits the most new OPA members for the 2009-10 member year will receive
a free membership (valued up to $300) in the 2010-11 year.
Members will be eligible to choose from the following
for each new member listing your name as the referral on their new member
application:
- discounted OPA
membership, equal to 10% of the cost of the new member dues*
- $15 off any
OPA administered workshop or the OPA Annual Convention**
- one-year free
participation in the OPA Online Psychologist Referral Program
- any
combination of OPA merchandise valued at $25
- one free
advertisement posting in the
OPA

The Recruitment
Rewards program will only apply to
NEW members of OPA – rewards are not
granted for reinstatements. Members are not limited in the number of
individuals they can refer in one year, except with respect to discounted member
dues or CE event attendance. Recruitment Rewards expire two years after
issuance.
Earning Recruitment
Rewards is simple – just be sure that your name is listed on the “Referred
By” line on the OPA New Member Application. You may start recruiting NOW even though the 2009-10
year does not begin until September 1 – all new members applying as of
July 1, 2009
will be counted for the current Recruitment Rewards
campaign.
