School of Professional Psychology Staff Psychologist. WSU-SOPP is seeking a Staff Psychologist to provide oversight of the Ellis Human Development Institute’s General Practice and Assessment Clinics in line with the SOPP mission and strategic plan. To provide psychological services to clients who seek mental health treatment and/or psychological evaluations. Required: Doctoral degree from an APA accredited program and psychology licensure in Ohio. Knowledge of substance abuse issues, learning disability/ADHD/autism assessments. Familiarity with Evidenced-Based Practices. Demonstrated ability to supervise and/or mentor psychology trainees. Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in a clinical setting. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with Crisis Management. Strong writing, organizational and communication skills. Results-action orientation, as well as ability to multi-task and see projects through to completion is essential. Experience with electronic health records and computer skills. Ability to work with data. Knowledge of local community resources. Preferred: Five to ten years post-licensure experience in the professional practice of psychology. Knowledge of HIPAA, OMHAS, CARF and Ohio Medicaid guidelines. Pediatric Psychologists                                                  

Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, is recruiting pediatric psychologists to staff the hospital’s Center for Pediatric Mental Health Resources, joining a staff of 11 child psychologists.  This is an exciting opportunity to work with multidisciplinary medical teams to provide assistance with treatment adherence and coping with medical conditions.  Responsibilities include consultation to identify psychological factors related to the child’s condition, providing care to address issues related to medical conditions as well as general child clinical concerns.  We are also recruiting for a psychologist to provide evaluation and treatment of child abuse victims.

The positions are full time and offer a competitive salary, incentive pay and comprehensive benefit package.  A Doctoral degree, Ohio licensure and specialization in child psychology are required.  Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
