School of Professional Psychology: Staff Psychologist – WSU-SOPP is seeking a Staff Psychologist to provide oversight of the Ellis Human Development Institute’s General Practice and Assessment Clinics in line with the SOPP PsyD program mission and strategic plan. To provide psychological services to clients who seek mental health treatment and/or psychological evaluations. Required: Doctoral degree from an APA accredited program and psychology licensure in Ohio. Broad range of child and adult assessment experience. Familiarity with Evidenced-Based Practices. Demonstrated ability to supervise and/or mentor psychology trainees. Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in a clinical setting. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with Crisis Management. Strong writing, organizational and communication skills. Results-action orientation, as well as ability to multi-task and see projects through to completion is essential. Experience with electronic health records and computer skills. Preferred: Three years post-licensure experience in the professional practice of psychology. Knowledge of substance abuse issues, learning disability/ADHD/ autism assessments.
